NEWS: OWL EYES
Mar 5, 2015

The past six months have seen young protegee Owl Eyes travel around the world, increasing the reach of her unique, effortless sounds.
Currently on a global tour with Flight Facilities, she hasn’t seen her hometown of Melbourne in weeks. But as someone dedicated to her craft, it’s a small price to pay.
Providing other-worldly vocals on their tracks in front of thousands, the tour has taken Owl Eyes to LA’s Fonda Theatre, Los Vegas Brooklyn Bowl, Chicago Concord Music Hall and the Washington 9:30 Club, among others.
Notably, she played to roaring crowds at 2015’s sold-out Laneway Festival, which hit Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Most recently, Owl Eyes joined the The Cat Empire at their Beat The Drum set, to cover Confide in Me by Kylie Minogue. It quickly became a clear favourite on triple j, reaching an astounding 40,000 plays on youtube, and counting.
Having spent three weeks in LA late last year, writing and recording her next album, we’ve only yet seen a glimpse of what Owl Eyes has to offer.
