Following on from the global hit single ‘Private’ and sold out tour, Australia’s favourite, red-headed folk pop vocalist, Vera Blue is doing it all again.
She’s just returned home from the US and is excited to be heading off on an even bigger national tour in support of her latest single, ‘Mended’ and her highly anticipated forthcoming album. “It’s become a bit of a beast of a thing but I’m very excited to get it out to the people”
The Mended Tour will kick off this July and run through to September. Her three previous Australian headline tours all sold out and tickets to the upcoming ‘Mended’ tour are going just as fast, with Melbourne show already sold out. The Tour also includes Vera Blues second appearance at the sold-out, Splendour In The Grass festival.
“I like relating to people and making them feel what I feel. It’s where I’ve grown to as an artist. That vulnerability is very special in music, being able to open up to your listeners is incredibly important.” And that’s exactly what Vera Blue is doing.
‘Mended’ was Co-produced by Andy Mak and Grammy-nominated founder of Deep Well Records Adam Anders, and mix engineered by the multiple-Grammy winning Manny Marroquin (Rihanna, Sia, Kanye West). Intensely personal, ‘Mended’ is a song that Vera Blue has been excited to share with her fans for a long time. It’s a massive ballad, but it comes from an even bigger heart. ‘Mended’ is a powerful and an intimate look into her personal life.
“I just love it. I love performing it and can’t wait to give it to the world and let them feel how I feel.”
